The Greek steamer "KING OTHON" was built in Thames in 1860. It was given the name "PATRIS" after the expulsion of the king in 1862 and sunk in1868. SS Patris (ΑΠ ΠΑΤΡΙΣ) belonged to the Greek Steamship Company (1857-1892). Its current position is 37°34’44.18” N, 24°15’46.42” E, in the sea bottom near the island Kea, whereof its right paddle wheel was hoisted in 2006.
The works are the finds gathered for the reconstruction of a memory which was not experienced.
