Η εγκατάσταση If you were written on ice you would be equally indecipherable αφορά την οπτική πληροφορία, τις απτικές σχέσεις και τα
κατάλοιπα μιας βίαιης διαλεκτικής που οργανώνεται γύρω από έναν σταθερό
παρατηρητή. Πρόκειται για την ανασύνθεση ενός περιβάλλοντος από ερμητικές
επιφάνειες που φέρουν τα σημεία μιας ανεξιχνίαστης γραφής. Το δίκτυο των ρωγμών
που καλύπτουν την επιφάνεια ενός βράχου εκλαμβάνεται εδώ σαν ένα κρυπτογράφημα
που μπορεί να μεταγραφεί, χωρίς απαραίτητα να ερμηνευτεί.
The installation If you were written on ice you would be equally indecipherable is
about the visual information, the tactile relations and the remnants of a
violent dialectic organized around a steady observer. It is the recreation of
an environment out of hermetically sealed surfaces bearing the signs of
indecipherable writings. The network of crevices on the surface of a rock is
viewed as a cryptogram that can be transcribed, but not necessarily
interpreted.
